We woke early in Bruce's Crossing and ate breakfast at the grocery store. I bought five squirt guns that almost immediately broke. Lesson learned. We got back on the road through some very stunning sections of the Ottawa National Forest. I felt very slow early on in the day but then warmed up considerably and soon was feeling quick. We stopped and swam at Lake Michigamme and then Goody and Will took off ahead to find a bike shop in Marquette. Aidan, Pete and I rolled onto Marquette by ourselves on the busy Rt 28. We stopped and got dinner supplies at a grocery outside of Marquette and rode onto look for a good campsite. We found exactly what we were looking for right along Lake Superior. We dropped our stuff in the trees and walked on the white sand beaches into crystal clear water as the sun went down. Goody and Will arrived and were obviously excited about our spot score. We practiced throwing the disc while standing waist deep in the water, and skipping the disc of the water. Then we went and socialized with some Michigonians and showed them our Frisbee skills. We watched an epic sunset, ate and went to sleep in the sand.
