We woke up in Newberry and headed back out to 28. We rode through the Sault Ste. Marie State Forest and turned north on the Rexford Rd to get to ride along the lake. We swam and threw the disc at Whitefish Bay, bidding farewell to the epic Superior. We rode along the water for a ways and then rode north to Sault Ste. Marie. We jumped on Interstate 75 going north to cross the bridge into Canada. We ate at Chinese restaurant and talked to some locals in downtown Sault Ste. Marie who quickly assured us that Canadians value safety for travelling tourists. We stocked up at a grocery for the next days long ride to meet Will's Dad David in Serpent River, 100 miles away. The World Cup Final was playing at 1:30 and we had to ride 100 miles before the game started. We camped behind a technical school, not far off the Trans Canada Highway, half expecting that we would be removed by security at some point in the night.
