7/20 To Ithaca

We woke up early and anticipated a short day down to Ithaca.  We were saying goodbye to David who was returning to Potsdam.  It was great to show another generation our bike touring experience.  As we left Seneca Falls I stopped for a brief moment to readjust my pannier and by the time I was riding again Will and Goody were riding fast and as they turned onto 89 I tried hard to catch them.  I chased them at 20mph for a while, and could not quite bridge the gap, and then decided to take it easy with Aidan.  We took our time, tasted cider, ate ice cream and stopped to true my wheel while the rest of the guys made great time into Ithaca.  They had met our friends Trevor and Sheep as well as two Belgian school teachers riding from New York to Argentina.  We chatted ate at Cantina Vita and then rode to Sheeps apartment.  We hiked to the dam at six mile creek, where did some 35 foot cliff jumps and threw the disc to each other as we jumped in the water.   We walked back to the house where drove to Wegman's, went crazy and then had a party.  We threw the disc after midnight outside the apartment complex.  After I passed out early the guys met a dude named Planet.
